As a member of the Xen pre-disclosure list, Host Virtual is aware of several Xen Security Advisories (XSAs) that require critical updates. The XSAs will be publicly released by the Xen project team on March 10th.

In order to apply the updates, hypervisors and the servers running on them must be rebooted. Host Virtual will be rebooting instances beginning 2015/03/02 20:00 through 2015/03/09 22:00 on a rolling schedule in different regions to ensure ongoing security for our and your infrastructure. Reboots will take place after hours, if possible, during the local regions time zone.
We understand the short notice and window for reboots is an inconvenience. Unfortunately, due to the logistics involved we must issue a reboot and may not be able to pinpoint the window when your server will be rebooted. Your server will start automatically once the work is completed, and we are doing our best to minimize any impact.
